Iconic director MARTIN SCORSESE was in Cannes last week and, while he was reluctant to talk about his upcoming projects SHUTTER ISLAND and the untitled FRANK SINATRA MOVIE, he was more than willing to discuss his love of film preservation. he’s teamed up with B-Side Entertainment and THEAUTEURS.COM to facillitate the viewing of preserved films. You’ve all had a lot to say about my colleague Adam Markovitz’s post from yesterday concerning Adam Lambert’s sexuality. On The View, Kara kind of, sort of, went ahead and outed him. The American Idol judge showed up on this morning’s episode in a pre-taped interview, during which she told Barbara Walters and Co. this about the Idol runner up: “I think he was always openly out.”

It’s a story about a grumpy, old man whose house is elevated into the wild blue with the help of some helium inflated balloons. Hands down, the most controversial film at this year’s CANNES INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL was director LARS VON TRIER’S much anticipated ANTICHRIST. Reportedly met with jeers and walk-outs at it’s premier screening, the film was considered an outrage.
