Mel Gibson’s ‘Get The Gringo’ Bows Exclusively Via VOD
By · Comments
Originally titled HOW I SPENT MY SUMMER VACATION and now slated for release via VOD, GET THE GRINGO is a high-octane action adventure described by the studio thusly:
After last week’s hilarious debut of two-time Emmy-winner KATHY GRIFFIN’S new talk show, KATHY, it won’t be a surprise if Bravo gets a ratings bump as the weekly series progresses and word-of-mouth spreads. GRIFFIN brings razor-sharp wit to a variety of topics as she bounces from subject to subject with ADD dexterity. We sat down last week with the popular comedienne and she talked about choosing topics for the show.
Opening in theaters tomorrow, THE PIRATES! BAND OF MISFITS is the latest claymation offering from the iconic AARDMAN ANIMATION STUDIOS and follows the exploits of an inept group of sea-going rogues vying to win the coveted Pirate-Of-The-Year Award. Short on story, long on visuals, the beautifully realized film is directed by PETER LORD and JEFF NEWITT from a screenplay by GIDEON DeFOE and features the voice talents of HUGH GRANT, SALMA HAYEK, MARTIN FREEMAN, IMELDA STAUNTON, ANTON YELCHIN and JEREMY PIVEN.
Despite rumors of a rift between CHEVY CHASE and showrunner DAN HARMON, the cast of the popular NBC sitcom COMMUNITY always seems to pull it together in time for filming. On tonight’s episode, MICHAEL K. WILLIAMS (BOARDWALK EMPIRE) returns for a story that skewers several familiar TV shows. Last week, we sat down with YVETTE NICOLE BROWN who didn’t appear to put much stock in the tabloid rumors and talked about her affection for fellow cast members.Survivor One World Episode 11 Recap

Day 28 and tree mail brings news of another Reward Challenge. Its the old Consensus Quiz where players must match their answers to what the majority think about other players. For each correct answer, you get to chop one of three ropes holding a ′doll′ made up to look like a player. After the third rope is cut, the doll falls into a fire and that player is out. This event usually lets everybody know where they stand in the Tribal Pecking Order. The prize is a picnic for the winner and guests.
Needless to say, Troyzan is the first player eliminated. This after we learn that the tribe as a whole considers Christina the least deserving to be there and Kim being the most trusted. Kat is considered the most in need of a wake up call. That question puts Tarzan and Chelsea out. A couple more questions, where Troyzan is the biggest poser and Sabrina the laziest, finishes Kat, Sabrina and Christina. Kim wins over Alicia, but Kim takes her, as well as Chelsea, on the prize picnic. Troyzan stirs the pot of mistrust and envy.
The picnic is a nervous one for the winners, because they know that Troyzan is busy causing trouble while they are away. Not to mention how the answers to the quiz questions may also have offended some of their allies. Sure enough, back at camp, Kat is fuming. She′s hungry and wanted to eat. She feels dissed that Kim took Alicia and Chelsea over her. Troy spins a web of envy, telling Kat that Kim and Chelsea are running the show and have shown their hand at who will be the Final Three. Sabrina attempts to do damage control with Kat and she also sees that Christina is being swayed by Troyzan. The winners return early and Kim has a chat with Kat to calm her down.
Day 29 begins with a rain storm. While the gang hide in their shelter, a wild pig wanders into camp. The Great Pig Race is on! All hands on deck as they try to capture the wild pig. You have to wonder what they would do if they actually caught it? Do any of these people know how to butcher a pig? Luckily, they decide to make it a pet instead.
Day 30 and its time for the Immunity Challenge. Its a slip-n-slide ring toss event. Divided into pairs, players will compete as they slide down a slippery track to fetch a rope ring which they must then toss and score a point by hitting a hooked-pole. Chelsea beats Alicia, Kat beats Sabrina, Tarzan beats Troyzan and Kim beats Christina in Round One. In the next round, two rope rings for each are in play. Chelsea beats Kat and Kim beats Tarzan, advancing them to the final round with three rope rings. Kim wins immunity.
Back at camp, Troyzan scrambles, knowing he is the target. The others still think he has a hidden immunity idol, so Kim and Chelsea decide to split the vote with Sabrina and Tarzan voting for Christina, just in case. Sabrina actually warns Christina ahead of time, who in turn tells Troyzan. He decides to work to getting a couple more people voting for Christina. While chatting up Kat, she tells Troyzan that she will gladly vote to boot Chelsea.
At Tribal Council, Troyzan tells Jeff Probst that the women are against the men, or man, since Tarzan is part of the women′s voting block. Sabrina is asked about the pecking order and gives a dubious answer. Christina is also uncertain about who the top three players are. She also feels hurt from the Reward quiz about her not deserving to be there. Kim acknowledges that the RC left several people unhappy. Kat tells all that she is still unhappy.
Its time to vote. We watch Troyzan vote for Christina, Kim for for Troyzan and Christina vote for Chelsea. No idol is played as Jeff counts the votes. Sabrina and Tarzan did indeed vote for Christina, but the rest voted to boot Troyzan. As he leaves, he tells Kat, ″Do it!″ Jeff congratulates the gang for finally getting rid of Troyzan, but asks them, ″Now what?″
Spoilers for next week show how Tarzan is the last man standing. The women are becoming more divided. Kat and Sabrina seem to be ready to do something to shake things up. But is it too little, too late? Tune in next week for another recap of Survivor One World!
Kardashian’s $40 Million Richer: Thanks E!
By · CommentsWell, if you weren’t already sick of the Kardashian klan already, you soon will be. The power family just signed a three year, $40 million deal with E!.
The Kardashians certainly are raking it in. They already took over E! for seven strong seasons of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and they will continue for three more. I have to admit, it is the best show E! has and I used to watch like a train wreck. Till Kimmy went and got all stuck up with her quickie wedding, it totally turned me off. But I still tune in occasionally, cause like I said, it is the best show they have and sometimes nothing else is on.
You will see the entire Kardashian Krew – Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian Odom, Rob Kardashian, Bruce Jenner, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. Scott and Mason supposedly penned a deal of their own. I hope we see more of that cutie, and I don’t mean Scott.
The $3 million doesn’t include other endorsements or projects for the family, or their spin offs, “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” and “Khloe and Lamar.”
The most recent season of “Keeping Up With the Kardasians” averaged more than 3 million viewers, which is not too shabby for a non-major network. The seventh season will have fresh new18-episodes coming your way and it premieres May 20.
Will you be tuning in? Are you tired of the Kardashians, or are they your guilty pleasure? Personally, I will be dying to see how it plays out with Kanye West and to see if they air Kimmy’s divorce laundry out in the open. Now that would be good TV. We got to see the good, not lets us see how it really goes down when it is bad.

Katherine Heigl Adopts Second Baby
By · CommentsActress Katherine Heigl and hubby Josh Kelley have a new addition to their family. It has been confirmed that the couple has adopted their second child together
Heigl’s rep has confirmed that she and Kelley have adopted another baby. People.com was the first to break the story and is reporting that Katherine and Josh are the proud parents of another little girl. The new bundle of joy joins big sister Naleigh, who is three years old and was adopted by the couple from South Korea. Unfortunately that is pretty much all the detailed information that is being released as of now, however I would be willing to be all will be revealed in some sort of big magazine display, just my two cents.
It is no secret that Katherine is all about adopting. She admitted long ago that adopting children is something that her and her husband of almost five years talked about adopting before they even became engaged. However that doesn’t mean she doesn’t want biological children because she has also made it clear she does want them, apparently she wants a slew of children.
As you may or may not know Heigl’s older sister Meg was adopted from South Korea, which is why adoption has always been something the New Year’s Eve actress wanted for her own family. I have to say that is one of the things I respect about her the most. I too have a sibling who was adopted and I am very passionate about it as well so it is one topic I can relate to her on. Like I said I have respect for her on that topic but for the most part I don’t like her and I think she sucks as an actress.
Congrats go out to Katherine, Josh and Naleigh as they welcome another baby into their family. I always say a baby is a blessing.

NBC Wednesday Night Preview Videos
By · CommentsHappy hump day my friends, I have some fabulous videos from NBC’s brand new Wednesday night that will no doubt help you get through those mid week blahs. I am talking about clips from Best Friends Forever, Law & Order: SVU and the hilarious Betty White’s Off Their Rockers.
NBC Wednesday night is the place to be and tonight is no exception. If you don’t believe me yet, trust me when I say you will after I show some awesome videos clips from all three new shows.
Kicking off the night is Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, which personally makes me laugh so freaking hard and that is why I am glad to have not one but two sneak peeks for you to take a little look at. If you haven’t seen this show then I highly recommend you check it out.
Sometimes a guy just needs a little clarification.
Who couldn’t use a little entertainment while waiting in line?
Next up there is the new comedy Best Friends Forever, which I have to admit I am still on the fence about. The blonde chick really drives me crazy but I like the rest of the cast so I am giving it a chance, that being said here is glimpse of tonight’s episode.
Finally rounding out the night is Law & Order: SVU and this one is going to bring the drama. A brutal rape will have the SVU team butting heads with not only each other but also with a neighborhood watch group. That is not going to be good especially when the neighborhood watch group decides to become street vigilantes.
Wowza it is going to be one heck of a night on NBC tonight. There is a little something for everyone whether you want to see a practical joke or a friendly comedy or show that is nothing but drama.

Currently in its thirteenth season, LAW & ORDER: SVU is the hugely popular police procedural centered on an elite squad of detectives who investigate sexually based crimes as part of the Special Victims Unit of the New York City Police Department. Created by Emmy Award-winning producer DICK WOLF, the series has received numerous accolades for tackling important social issues.
Opening in theaters next month, G.I. JOE: RETALIATION is the sequel to 2009’s G.I. JOE: RISE OF THE COBRA and features some personnel additions in the form of DWAYNE JOHNSON and BRUCE WILLIS. This time around, the G.I. Joes continue to be pitted against their mortal enemy COBRA while, at the same time, contend with threats from within the government. Directed by JON M. CHU from a screenplay by RHETT REESE and PAUL WERNICK, the cast also includes CHANNING TATUM, ADRIANNE PALICKI, RAY STEVENSON, WALTON GOGGINS, JOSEPH MAZZELLO and RZA.
